Convenient parking in Lot #5 or Lot #1.

The new facility is more than twice the size of our old location. Centrally located next to the Bankier Library on the Lincroft campus, it will house a Holocaust/Genocide Archives, an Interactive Dedicated Exhibit, a “Smart” Classroom, Library and Volunteer work area.

Chhange provides creative educational programming and services, inspiring constructive action to combat hate, bullying, and all forms of prejudice. Chhange annually serves over 15,000 students, educators and community members throughout New Jersey by giving them the skills to actively address injustice and become involved community citizens.

Chhange is now in its 33rd year and has the only Holocaust/Genocide Archives in New Jersey. Created at the request of local Holocaust survivors who wish to leave their treasured keepsakes with Chhange, it ensures that their possessions will continue to tell the history for generations to come. The archives in the new facility will meet all the standard requirements for temperature and humidity controls as well as proper housing of these precious items. Survivors have donated more than 600 artifacts, documents and photographs to Chhange.

The design of the permanent Holocaust/Genocide exhibit is underway with the focus on the human story to teach these lessons. Video testimony of local survivors, combined with their archival materials and state-of-the-art technology, will make this exhibit a destination for schools and all New Jersey residents. And the “Smart” Classroom, equipped with videoconferencing, will allow Chhange educators to bring their lessons and programs to classrooms across the nation and beyond.

How you can help Chhange for Our Future
… Major funding has come from Brookdale Community College, with a 100% commitment from the Chhange Board of Directors and participation from leading community members providing additional support. The project is well underway, but we still need significant funding. Remember that your contribution would help fund a state-of-the-art facility that will provide life-changing educational experiences for generations to come.
