​Marie Lucier-Woodruff

Marie Lucier-Woodruff is the Brookdale Community College Liaison to Chhange.  She graduated Glassboro State (Rowan) with Bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Women’s Studies.  She earned a Masters in Educational Administration from Rutgers University.  

Lucier-Woodruff has worked in the non-credit division of Brookdale Community College since 1983.  She has held several different positions, including Director of Business Services, Executive Director, Dean and currently Associate Vice President where she sits on the President's Executive Leadership Team.  

Lucier-Woodruff leads a division of 40+ staff members, with programs and centers including the Center for Career Development, Lifelong Learning, the Small Business Development Center, Displaced Homemakers Services, Chhange, the GED/ABE Program, the Fitness Center and Academic and Career Transitions Institute.  

Lucier-Woodruff has served on the Board of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, and the Board of the Monmouth Ocean Development Council where she was President from 2006-2008.  She serves as Treasurer of the NJ Community College Workforce Consortium.  

Lucier-Woodruff is a Leadership New Jersey Fellow; a graduate of AACC – Women in Higher Education Leaders Program; the 2003 recipient of the MODC Silver Gull Award for Service, and the 2016 Education Partnership Award recipient of the Monmouth County Workforce Development Board.
