Sy was one of the early leaders in the field of Holocaust Studies, founding our center in 1979...the first in New Jersey. Sy was a gentle giant and his warmth, his commitment to others, and his wisdom set the tone for the work of our center. Sy was an incredible loving man, and was loved in return by those privileged to know and learn from him.
One of Sy's talents was bringing together the right people...those with commitment in their hearts and the strength and courage to take on this hard work. With our giant in mind, we continue his legacy, our center.
His memory will be forever a blessing.
