Chhange and the Armenian community held a special reception for the opening of a three-part commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

The new exhibit is now open to the public.

  • John Woolf collection 100x140Later this year Chhange will launch the first section of a new state-of-the art interactive multimedia exhibit.

  • Armenian Exhibit 100x140The book Hundred-Year Legacy of Courage: Celebrating the Lives of Armenian Genocide Survivors in Our Community, commemorates the Armenian Genocide.

 

Yiddish Club Film


This 1936 Yiddish musical comedy classic (with English subtitles) filmed in Poland is the story of how a young girl, seeking to help her aging father, disguises herself as a boy to join a band of traveling musicians, Klezmorim, and the comical situations that arise.

Mimi Werbler will lead a short discussion after the film. A song lyrics handout will be provided.
