We will share a common intellectual experience as we read the novel When the Emperor Was Divine, by Julie Otsuka. The book follows one Japanese American family's experience when they were forced to live in an internment camp during World War II. Yom HaShoah: Remembering the Holocaust

Hannah RosenthalGuest speaker Hannah Rosenthal will address the role of the US during the Holocaust and trends in Holocaust education today. Her speech is titled, “Never Again: Holding Everyone Accountable."

Hannah Rosenthal is the Chief Executive Officer and President of The Milwaukee Jewish Federation. She served as special envoy and the head of Office to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism in the Obama Administration from 2009-2012.

The Marlboro High School Chorus will also perform at this event.

Chhange is the official State of New Jersey commemoration site this year.
