OceanFirst Charity Challenge
Act to Preserve a Survivor’s Legacy
OceanFirst Foundation is launching the OceanFirst Charity Challenge through the crowd-funding site Crowdrise, and is giving away $15,000 in grand prize Challenge grants and weekly $500 Good Neighbor Grants to support the work of their charity partners. First place will get a $10,000 grand prize Challenge grant from OceanFirst Foundation. Second place gets $3,000 and third gets $2,000. We're out to raise as much money as possible for our cause so we can win that $10,000 grand prize Challenge grant. The Challenge runs from April 14 through May 9, 2014.
For this Challenge, Chhange is focusing on raising funds to document unrecorded Survivor testimonies, and the name of our fundraiser is “Act to Preserve a Survivor’s Legacy." The testimonies will include Survivors and descendants of Survivors of the Armenian Genocide, the Holocaust, and the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
We think we can win, but to do so, we definitely need your help. You can participate by giving, by sharing the link with your friends and contacts, and by becoming a “fundraising team member."
Click here to create your own page in the OceanFirst Charity Challenge and click “fundraise for this campaign." In seconds, you'll have your own fundraiser page that you can share with all of your family and friends so that you can raise money for our cause, too.
We'll be sending emails throughout the Challenge with information and updates. Every donation makes a difference in this four-week fundraising challenge!
