Featuring: Dr. Christina Maranci, Mashtots Professor of Armenian Studies at Harvard University

Dr. Maranci will discuss erasure of cultural heritage sites as an aspect of genocide, particularly pertaining to the destruction of Armenian churches and monasteries in Eastern Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Artsakh.

There is a long history of cultural genocide in these regions - but it is also an ongoing threat for Armenians and many other at-risk communities around the world. Join us to learn more about this understudied element of genocide, and the critical work being done to preserve Armenian culture and historical sites.
