Back By Popular Demand! After reaching hundreds of educators, students, and community members in April, the Chhange Virtual Lunch & Learn Series is BACK!

Chhange's next Virtual Lunch & Learn, Personal Survivor History: Ruth Knopp, will introduce you to a local Holocaust Survivor who was instrumental in creating the Chhange Library. Ruth was studying to be a nurse at the Jewish Hospital in Berlin when the Holocaust began. She was imprisoned at Theresienstadt Concentration Camp, where she employed her nursing skills to care for sick prisoners. Learn more about Ruth's life before, during, and after the Holocaust, and how to utilize Personal Histories, a virtual learning tool developed by Chhange.

Chhange's Administrative & Exhibit Coordinator, Ally Evans, will lead this Lunch & Learn on Ruth's history, utilizing testimony from Ruth and the Chhange Survivor Scrapbooks. Chhange's First Executive Director, Dale Daniels, will share personal anecdotes from working with Ruth at Chhange.

Pre-registration is required for Zoom URL.
