Annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration Program

This year’s Holocaust Remembrance Commemoration Program features keynote speaker Rabbi Joseph Polak, Holocaust survivor, academic, and author of the memoir After the Holocaust the Bells Still Ring.  His memoir is a fascinating portrait of a mother and child who miraculously survive two concentration camps, and then after the war, struggle to re-enter the world of the living.

This moving commemorative program also includes a candle-lighting ceremony featuring local Holocaust survivors who are escorted by sailors from Naval Weapons Station Earle, as well as a musical performance by a local high school choir.  All are welcome to this powerful remembrance event.

Admission is free.
