Armenian Genocide Remembrance Commemoration

Drafted into the Turkish Army in World War I, Yervant Alexanian became an eyewitness to the massacre and dislocation of his fellow Armenians in Ottoman Turkey. His memoir is drawn from the journal in which he documented these experiences, and the re-building of his life in America. This memoir was edited by Yervant Alexanian’s daughter, Adrienne G. Alexanian.

Adrienne, an educator and a 2010 recipient of the Ellis Island Medal, will present a reading, followed by discussion, and a book signing.

Light refreshments will be available.
