The 1938 pogrom initiated widespread violence against Germany’s Jewish Community with more than 90 deaths & over 30,000 Jewish men sent to concentration camps.
Learn about the Concentration Camps first-hand from WWII Veteran Allan Ostar, who arrived at Dachau soon after Liberation. After Mr. Ostar shares his testimony, you can watch other veterans reflect on their eyewitness experiences entering concentration camps at the end of World War II in the Chhange-produced documentary--I Was There.
A keepsake booklet sharing local survivors’ personal experiences of the pogrom will also be shared. Free to the community.
