We are proud to announce the opening of the permanent exhibit on November 12, 2017! The exhibit, Journeys Beyond Genocide: The Human Experience, presents the Armenian Genocide, the Holocaust, and the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, as well as opportunities to stand up to injustice in today’s world. Visitors will experience the compelling human story beyond the history, using testimony of local genocide survivors and their archival items, as well as tablet software technology designed and donated by AT&T specifically for this exhibit.
The Kolber Family Foundation has generously created a $75,000 matching grant initiatve in support of Journeys Beyond Genocide. Specifically, the Kolber Family Foundation has agreed to match all donations received, dollar for dollar, up to $75,000 for the Chhange permanent exhibit. To date, Chhange has raised $1.9 million of its $2 million goal for Journeys Beyond Genocide through its Campaign for Chhange. Thanks to the philanthropic initiative of the Kolber Family Foundation and with the help of public support, Chhange is hoping to raise the final $100,000 to complete this project.
Please help us reach our goal. For every $1 donated, Chhange receives $2!
Checks are the preferred method of payment though credit cards are accepted. We kindly ask that credit cards be used for donations greater than $25.
