Understanding and Respecting the “Other” $8,500
This multi-session program specifically addresses bias incidents and hate speech occurring in the school community. Working in partnership with the school administration, counseling and faculty, Chhange tailors this program to best meet the specific needs of the students enrolled in the program

  • Recognizing hate in our community
  • Understanding our Behavior in our School Community
  • The Human Story of the Holocaust and Genocide
  • Interactive meeting with Holocaust/Genocide survivors

Law Enforcement Officer Training Program (LEO) $18,750
The Law Enforcement Officer Training Program (LEO) is a collaborative program involving Chhange, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Office of the Monmouth County Prosecutor. This initiative brings 50 local law enforcement officers and administrators in to Chhange and to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, for a two-day intensive training session on the Holocaust and the role and responsibilities  of law enforcement in protecting the civil rights of citizens of the United States.
