Adrienne Aldermeshian

Adrienne Aldermeshian grew up in Highland Park, NJ, the daughter and granddaughter of Holocaust survivors. After marrying the son of survivors of the Armenian genocide and raising a son and daughter who are half Jewish and half Armenian she realized that volunteering at Chhange and becoming a docent was where she needed to be. Aldermeshian received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University, working in the field of medical social work.

She spent many years volunteering for Holmdel Township's Neighborhood Watch and Domestic Violence response teams, was a board member of the Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence and a board member of the Holmdel Schools parent groups.
