This year’s New Jersey State Holocaust Remembrance Commemoration Program features keynote speaker Dr. Agnes Grunwald-Spier, child survivor of the Holocaust and author of Women in the Holocaust: In Their Own Words.
This moving commemorative program also includes a candle-lighting ceremony featuring local Holocaust survivors who are escorted by sailors from Naval Weapons Station Earle, as well as a musical performance by a local high school choir. All are welcome to this powerful remembrance event.
We invite Holocaust Survivors, their families, student groups, college students, and the public to attend this commemorative program on Friday, May 3, 2019 beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Admission is free. Please register for the event here.
Location: Navesink Rooms, Student Life Center, Brookdale Community College Lincroft Campus.
This event is also available to school groups free of charge. Join us on May 3rd for an opportunity to learn more about the economic history of the Holocaust and honor the men and women who lived through this horrific time in history.
